waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.4 inch high will move across the lake this 
afternoon, and slide to the east tonight, and then move off the east 
coast tomorrow. a 29.5 inch low will move across the upper great 
lakes tuesday, then a stronger low averaging 29.3 inches will 
approach the region tuesday night and potentially move northwest of 
the lake wednesday. a 29.9 inch high is expected to move into the 
great lakes region thursday, followed by a 29.6 inch low which may 
approach the lake from the northwest late friday.
