hudson bay through daybreak as high pressure around 30.1 inches 
builds into wi from the northern great plains. thus anticipate 
that the current southwest winds will trend light and variable
through this morning. another low pressure around 29.7 inches will
develop in the canadian great plains this afternoon, allowing 
winds to turn east-southeasterly across lake michigan. winds will
increase and veer south to southwesterly across the waters 
tonight as the low pressure progresses over or just north of the 
northern half of lake michigan. some rain or snow is possible over
northern lake michigan during the low's passage, with wind gusts 
expected to remain below gale thresholds. winds will then turn 
west-northwesterly friday as a cold front moves across the 
waters.

winds will become light friday night through saturday morning as 
high pressure around 30.0 inches moves across lake michigan. 
increasing southerly winds are expected saturday afternoon as a 
cold front approaches from the north. the front is expected to 
cross lake michigan saturday night into sunday morning, bringing

a 29.8 inch clipper low over northern ontario lifts towards james 
bay by morning. behind this low, weak ridging of around 30.1 inches 
builds over lake superior on today ahead of another clipper low 
moving through the lake thursday night into early friday at around 
29.8 inches. while another low moves through northern ontario 
towards the north short of lake superior friday night, another low 
stretches into the northern plains around the same time. together, 
these lows are expected to bring about troughing of around around 
29.8 inch over lake superior on saturday into sunday. behind the 
troughing, 30.4 inch ridging builds into the great lakes and 
northern plains by monday.
