st johns river near astor affecting volusia and lake counties.

.the saint johns river at astor is forecast to remain in moderate
flood stage through at least this weekend. the elevated river level
is due to a combination of above normal high tides, northeast winds,
and large ocean swells preventing the flow and discharge of water
downstream across all of the middle and lower saint johns river
basin.

for the st. johns river...including astor...moderate flooding is
ongoing.
