Most kiteboarders launch from parking lot 5, adjacent to the pass. You may also launch and land from parking lots 1 through 4 but will have less beach to work with and need to stay outside the buoys when not launching or landing. That means no jumps, etc inside the buoys.
NOTES from G. Herman
In a West Northwest breeze definitely go to the west coast from the East coast. There are great waves on a series of sand bars at Wiggins, the further out you go the bigger the break. You can choose any size break you like by which sand bar you sail on. It will be an easy launch off the beach.
