advisory, which is in effect from noon wednesday to 9 pm pst
thursday. 

* winds...n 10 to 20 kt becoming s 10 to 20 kt on thursday.

* waves/seas...nw swell around 12 to 14 ft at 15 to 17 seconds.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a small craft advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

  today. 

* seas...steep swell driven seas of 8 to 10 ft this morning,
  transitioning to wind driven, steep 9 to 12 ft later this
  morning through tonight. building northwest swell tonight will 
  bring steep to very steep seas of 14 to 18 ft through wednesday 
  morning. 

* areas affected...all areas will be affected by winds and steep
  to very steep seas today, however, the worst conditions will
  occur near cape blanco.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a hazardous seas warning means very steep and hazardous sea
conditions are imminent or occurring. recreational boaters should
remain in port, or take shelter until waves subside.  commercial
vessels should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in
port or taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.

a small craft advisory means that winds and seas will create a
potential hazard to smaller vessels and inexperienced mariners.
