the national weather service in grand junction has extended the

* flood advisory for...
  snowmelt in...
  central delta county in west central colorado...

* until 445 am mdt thursday.

* at 438 am mdt, gauge reports indicated low land flooding along
  surface creek north of cedaredge. warm temperatures have resulted

  or a little above bankful over the next few days this week. levels
  may slowly decrease along surface creek in cedaredge through the
  coming week so stay tuned for updates.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

excessive runoff from snow melt will cause creeks, streams and rivers
to rise. minor flooding along the banks and in low lying areas will
be possible.

a flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
