  cause minor flooding through this afternoon. inflow into the john 
  h kerr reservoir...including from the dan river...is causing 
  increased water levels in the reservoir. vdot and local law 
  enforcement continue to report several road closures due to the 
  ongoing flooding. a few of the roads impacted include state routes 
  688...693 and 702. 

* some locations that will experience flooding include... 
  clarksville, boydton, buffalo springs, richardson, buffalo 
  junction, finchley, skipwith and john h kerr reservoir.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

southeastern hunterdon and southern somerset counties...

at 843 am edt...the rains and thunderstorms from earlier have moved 
well east of the area and no more significant rain is expected for 
the next few hours. the excessive rains from earlier are still 
causing small streams to run highs and other issues across the area. 
the neshanic creek was approaching flood stage last hour, but has 
since begun to recede. 

some locations that will experience flooding include...
somerville, somerset, bound brook, manville, flemington, stockton,
millstone, flagtown, sergeantsville, cloverhill, belle mead,
martinsville, sand brook, raritan, south bound brook and
lambertville.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

if you encounter any roads that are closed or have standing water 
across them, turn around and find another way. remember, most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

report any significant flooding to your local law enforcement agency
