| Kiteboarding 4 Cancer was a landmark event for kiteboarding in 2007, opening participation to ALL levels of kiteboarders, while giving back to our communities -- nationally and locally. Taking place on the spectacular Columbia River at the Hood River Event Site, this year's KB4C hosts new events for kiteboarders with a more challenging Endurance Derby and the world's first Kiteboarding Long Jump event. Also taking place during the all-day event will be the Full Sail Beer Garden & BBQ, the KB4C Music Stage, the Healing KiteArt Studio, the KB4C Live & Silent Auction, and After-party at the River City Saloon. Charity Partners: John Wayne Cancer Foundation, Celilo Cancer Center and the Children's Healing Art Project. Windance swap meets are probably the largest in the country, drawing people from all over the Pacific Northwest and Canada. Swaps are a great place to find real bargains and a great way to turn cold old gear into hot new cash.
Sellers who want the best parking spaces arrive around 7 a.m. and buyers arrive around 8. The swap continues until the early afternoon |

| Sprite is Sponsoring the 2nd Kiteboarding Championship in Santa Marianita, Ecuador.
This event will count with several brands co- sponsoring the event such as REDBULL, MAZDA, OAKLEY, LIQUID FORCE, SLINGSHOT.
There are two cathegories to participate:
* Long Distance
* Free Style
Male / Female
There are over $8.000 usd in Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Santa Marianita is the Perfect Spot located in Manabi - Ecuador.
Fly to Ecuador. You can choose Quito or Guayaquil as arrival city.
From either city, you can buy a round trip ticket to Manta City for $120 usd all year long.
Manta is a safe medium size city.
You will sleep in Manta along with all riders coming from different cities and countries.
Organizers will coordinate transportation for participants. Nevertheless, if you want to go on your own way yo SANTA MARIANITA BEACH (where the tournment will take place) it has a cost of $8 usd from any hotel. |
