.synopsis...

a low of 29.6 inches over eastern lake superior drops south into the 
eastern u.p this morning before moving to quebec this afternoon 
while a high pressure of 30.6 inches is dropping south over the 
plains. this high builds weak ridging of 30.0 inches over much of 
lake superior today, which strengthens to 30.1 inches by tuesday 
morning as a very weak trough of 30.0 inches scoots through the 
lake. a 29.8 inch low then moves over lower michigan on wednesday 
ahead of a secondary 29.8 inch low moving into lake superior later 
in the day. as the lows phase and continue east wednesday night into 
thursday, a weak remnant trough of 30.0 inches extends over the 
lake. after that, a 31.0 inch high builds from the canadian prairies 
into the northern plains thursday night through friday. this high 
builds into the upper midwest friday night into saturday as it 
weakens to 30.7 inches.
