a 29.4 inch low lifts through the central plains and continues
northeast today, reaching northern lake michigan this evening at
29.5 inches before arriving at the ontario/quebec line at 29.6
inches by friday morning. as this happens, another colorado low
moves into kansas at 29.6 inches by friday. this low moves into
eastern iowa by friday night as sprawling 30.7 inch high pressure
resides over far northern quebec and hudson bay. the low moves
through the upper great lakes at around 29.6 inches late saturday,
with lake superior looking to be between the low at 29.3 inches now
over northern quebec and a 30.3 inch high over the great plains by
sunday. pressure rises on lake superior early next week as the high
builds to 30.6 inches over the red river valley (of the north) on
monday before moving into the western great lakes by tuesday.
