tonight, allowing 30.2 inch high pressure over lake superior this
afternoon to fall to 30.0 inches by friday morning ahead of a 29.5
inch low developing over kansas and nebraska. this low tracks
northeast to upper michigan and lake superior at 29.4 inches by
saturday morning. weak 29.8 ridging builds over the lake on saturday
evening as the low quickly departs into quebec. 29.5 inch troughing
returns to the lake on sunday as a 29.1 inch low tracks across
northern ontario. this will be closely followed by a 29.3 inch
clipper low crossing the lake monday morning. by tuesday morning,
the lake will be between 30.3 inch high pressure over northern
ontario and 29.6 inch low pressure over the upper mississippi river
valley.
