waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.
.synopsis...a 30.0 inch surface low over new england this evening
will carry a cold front farther east of the lake, and off the new
england coastline tomorrow. a 30.5 inch high will then build over
the great lakes saturday, and then drift east to new england by
sunday. a 29.4 inch low will then move from near lake superior
sunday night to northern quebec monday, with a trailing cold front
stalling near the lake monday through tuesday. a 29.6 inch surface
low advancing through the central great lakes wednesday will lift
this frontal boundary northward, into canada, with a trailing cold
front from the surface low crossing the lake wednesday evening.
