waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.
.synopsis...a 29.9 inch clipper low will cross lake ontario early
this morning, then slide off the new england coast today. a 30.6
inch high will then build from the central great lakes to the new
england coastline through wednesday, before moving southeast of
nova scotia thursday. a cold front will cross the lake friday, with
a 30.5 inch high then forecast to build east across the great lakes
saturday.

25 knots. snow showers late this morning, then scattered snow
showers early this afternoon. waves 6 to 10 feet subsiding to
3 to 6 feet. waves occasionally around 13 feet.

15 knots. waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
