.synopsis...
a high pressure ridge averaging 30.2 inches impacts lake ontario 
today before the ridge begins to exit eastward tonight. a low of 
29.7 inches should move generally southeastward from near the 
northern great lakes to near southern new england tonight through 
monday. this low track should allow a warm front to drift 
northeastward across lake ontario later on sunday before a cold 
front sweeps eastward across the lake sunday night. behind the cold 
front, a trough averaging 29.8 inches should linger over lake 
ontario on monday. a high pressure ridge averaging 30.0 inches 
should build from the upper midwest monday night and traverse lake 
ontario on tuesday. this ridge should exit slowly eastward tuesday 
night through wednesday as a cold front approaches from the 
northwest.
