.synopsis...low pressure will rapidly strengthen to 28.5 inches as 
it moves northeast across newfoundland today. meanwhile, a 30.4 inch 
high will continue to settle over the southeastern states today 
before moving off the southeast coast tuesday. a strong 29.0 inch 
low over northwest ontario province tuesday afternoon will move east 
to northern quebec by wednesday, with a trailing cold front crossing 
the lake wednesday. another strong 29.0 inch low near lake superior 
thursday will move to northern quebec by friday, with a trailing 
strong cold front crossing the lake late thursday night.
