for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake ontario

waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...
a weak surface low will slide from southern quebec to new england 
today, with its trailing cold front crossing the lake this morning. 
following the frontal passage, a strong 30.6 inch high over ontario 
will build across the lake tonight. the high will then drift into 
quebec friday while a compact 29.7 inch low slides across ohio and 
pennsylvania, with the high then building back across the lake 
saturday. complex low pressure averaging 29.6 inches will then cross 
the lower great lakes later sunday and sunday night, before moving 
to the canadian maritimes monday.
