the flood warning continues for
  the big creek near alpharetta.
* until early tomorrow afternoon.
* at 1:15 pm edt tuesday the stage was 8.7 feet.
* flood stage is 7 feet.
* minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river is expected to fall below flood stage late 
  tomorrow morning and continue falling to 2.3 feet sunday morning.
* impact...at 9 feet, minor flooding expands along the creek from 
  near cumming to alpharetta and roswell. backyards of homes off 
  seale drive and gunter court and portions of the golf of georgia 
  begin to flood. the big creek greenway experiences significant 
  flooding up to 3 feet deep...which results in closure of most of 
  the paths. this especially occurs upstream and downstream from the 
  gage on kimball bridge road and rock mill park. a large portion of 
  the ymca campground off preston ridge road will be under a foot of 
  water.

  the big creek near cumming.
* until further notice.
* at 3:45 am edt tuesday the stage was 7.5 feet and nearly steady.
* flood stage is 6 feet.
* minor flooding is occurring.
* forecast...no forecast is available for this location.
* impact...at 8 feet, minor flooding will expand into the natural 
  flood plain of the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at 
  atlanta highway or georgia highway 9. most of the sidewalk and 
  boardwalk of the big creek greenway will be under a foot or two of 
  water. the areas under the georgia 400 highway and mcfarland road 
  will be covered with around three feet of water. a portion of the 
  sidewalk under majors road will be covered with around four feet 
  of water.

  the satilla river at waycross.
* from wednesday morning until further notice.
* at 8:45 pm edt monday the stage was 15.2 feet.
* flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river is expected to rise above flood stage early 
  wednesday morning to a crest of 16.1 feet wednesday morning. it 
  will then fall below flood stage early thursday afternoon.
* impact...at 16.0 feet, flooding of agriculture and timberlands 
  begins. on the ware county side, the jamestown road boat ramp is 
  flooded. on the pierce/brantley county line at the state road 121 
  bridge the boat ramp and dirt access roads are flooded.
* impact...at 17.0 feet, on the ware county side, the jamestown road 
  boat ramp parking lot and access road is flooded and simmons trail 
  is flooded cutting off one residence. on the pierce county side, 
  the okefenokee country club course holes 14 through 16 begin to 
  flood.
* impact...at 18.0 feet, on the pierce county side, the okefenokee 
  country club golf course is generally closed. riverwoods drive low 
  lying properties begin to flood.

  the st mary's river at macclenny.

* at 8:45 am edt tuesday the stage was 11.8 feet.
* flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river is expected to rise above flood stage this 
  afternoon to a crest of 12.4 feet just after midnight tonight. it 
  will then fall below flood stage thursday morning.
* impact...at 12.0 feet, minor flooding of low lying areas and 
  timber lands including some properties along st. mary's river 
  bluff road and the cypress landing resort on the georgia side.
* impact...at 14.0 feet, flooding of bottomlands along the river and 
  some lower access roads including the lower half of st. mary's 
  river bluff road which cuts off 15 to 20 homes on the georgia side.

* at 8:45 am edt tuesday the stage was 33.9 feet.
* flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river is expected to rise above flood stage early 
  thursday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 36.4 feet 
  early saturday afternoon.
* impact...at 33.0 feet, high water will begin to impact docks and 
  boat ramps in the area.
* impact...at 34.2 feet, florida fish and wildlife commission begins 
  enforcement of a no wake zone on the santa fe river from the river 
  rise in o'leno state park downstream to the center line of the us 
  27 bridge.
* impact...at 35.0 feet, wooded areas along the river begin to 
  flood. the boat ramp south of us-441 in alachua county is 
  inaccessible above this level.
* impact...at 37.0 feet, water begins to approach two residences 
  along the river at the end of southeast resort circle in columbia 
  county. the boat ramp near the us-27 bridge in columbia county 
  begins to flood at this level.

* at 8:15 am edt tuesday the stage was 44.8 feet.
* flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river is expected to rise to a crest of 47.7 feet 
  early friday afternoon.
* impact...at 41.0 feet, swimming becomes dangerous in the river in 
  the park area.
* impact...at 42.0 feet, boat ramp at the end of bible camp road 
  begins to flood.
* impact...at 43.0 feet, access to river gage becomes limited as the 
  bible camp road boat ramp becomes flooded and the last half mile 
  of bible camp road begins to flood in columbia county. overland 
  flooding begins past the santa fe river sink in the park and will 
  cut-off access road to south end of the park.
* impact...at 45.0 feet, numerous walking trails in o'leno state 
  park are flooded on the alachua county side of the river. flooding 
  begins to affect local roads north of buzzard roost prairie in 
  columbia county.
* impact...at 52.0 feet, a barn floods upstream of o'leno state park 
  in alachua county at this level.

* forecast...the river is expected to rise to 19.2 feet sunday 
  morning. additional rises are possible thereafter.
* impact...at 16.0 feet, lowland flooding begins on sw santa fe 
  drive south of santa fe road in columbia county.
* impact...at 16.3 feet, florida fish and wildlife commission begins 
  enforcement of a no wake zone on the santa fe river from the 
  unnamed island 1.5 miles downstream of the wilson's spring boat 
  ramp to the confluence with the suwannee river and on the 
  ichetucknee river upstream to the us 27 bridge.
* impact...at 17.0 feet, water begins to enter backyards of 
  residences on santa fe road in columbia county and on river run 
  road in suwannee county.
* impact...at 18.0 feet, water begins to flood river run road in 
  suwannee county.
* impact...at 18.8 feet, florida fish and wildlife commission 
  expands the no wake zone restriction further upstream on the santa 
  fe river from the unnamed island 1.5 miles downstream on the 
  wilson's spring boat ramp to one-half mile upstream of the state 
  road 47 bridge.
* impact...at 19.0 feet, water begins to enter backyards of 
  residences along the ichetucknee river.
* impact...at 19.8 feet, waters begins to affect homes in the 
  hollingsworth bluff area at state route 47.
* impact...at 20.0 feet, access to homes on santa fe road below sw 
  riverside avenue becomes restricted in columbia. flooding begins 
  on santa fe and wilson springs road.
* impact...at 21.0 feet, homes are surrounded on river run road in 
  suwannee county. structures flood along santa fe road west of 
  idaho parkway in columbia county.
