northeast, weakening to 29.6 inches by the time it reaches 
northeast lake superior on saturday evening. on sunday, 30.4 inch 
high pressure builds over far northern ontario as a 29.6 inch low 
pressure lifts northeast across the central plains. this low 
continues to track northeast, crossing lake superior monday. in 
its wake, a 30.0 inch ridge shifts east across the mississippi 
valley monday night into the lower great lakes tuesday.
