Ocean sailing in shallow waters just east of Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami. Small reef about 1/4 mile out sets up waves and high chop. Intermediate and expert conditions.

KITEBOARDERS TAKE NOTE:

To ensure the future of our access to Crandon, please make sure you follow the CRANDON PARK KITEBOARDING RULES, established and maintained by the FKA.

Crandon Park is a world-class kiteboarding destination. However, it is also a very popular beach for other pursuits. Because of its popularity, access is frequently threatened. Kiteboarding has been banned at Crandon on more than one occassion and has only been reopened thanks to the efforts of concerned kiteboarders and the Florida Kitesurfing Association.
