  tuesday morning. the river will fall below flood stage friday 
  afternoon.
* at 31.0 feet...the missouri-pacific railroad tracks are overtopped.
* at 29.0 feet...livestock in pastures along the river may be 
  endangered. extensive damage also occurs to cropland and pasture.
* at 24.0 feet...cropland and pastures along the river flood.

in indiana...

  white river...


.lowland flooding in progress at hazleton in southwestern indiana 
will continue into tuesday as a result of recent excessive rainfall.  
flooding is expected to come to an end tuesday afternoon.  flooding 
will mainly affect agricultural and riverside land, which includes 
a few roads.


precautionary/preparedness actions...

motorists should never drive into flood water. turn around and go 
another way. keep children away from flooded areas. recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

* there have been no observations in the last 24 hours.
* flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...it is forecast to crest at 16.9 feet tuesday morning and
  will fall below flood stage by tuesday afternoon.
* at 17.0 feet...lowest reading available from the hazleton staff 
  gage.  since the 1930s the white river has moved from the "old 
  wellhouse" to several hundred yards from the "old wellhouse".  the 
  river returns to the "old wellhouse" around 17 to 17.5 feet.

  the root river at franklin.

* at 7:00 pm cdt monday the stage was 8.2 feet.
* flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* minor flooding is occurring.
* forecast...the river has begun and will continue to fall this 
  evening and is expected to go below minor flood stage by early 
  tuesday morning.
* impact...at 8.0 feet, a low spot on oakwood road in southern 
  milwaukee county is flooded. other flooding effects are confined 
  mainly to agricultural land.

the national weather service in mount holly nj has issued a

* urban and small stream flood advisory for...
  talbot county in eastern maryland...
  queen anne's county in northeastern maryland...
  caroline county in eastern maryland...
  kent county in northeastern maryland...

* until 530 am edt.

* at 129 am edt, doppler radar indicated a series of heavy rain 
  showers and a few embedded thunderstorms moving from south to 
  north over the eastern shore. over one inch of rain has been 
  reported near the shores of the chesapeake bay. with more rain on 
  the way into the early morning hours, some flooding is expected, 
  especially in poor drainage areas. 

precautionary/preparedness actions...

protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all covid-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

a flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
