pressure will then build into the ohio valley and mid atlantic 
wednesday. a 29.6 inch low is then forecast to move from the ohio 
valley thursday to off the jersey shore by early friday morning.

.synopsis... 

high pressure around 30.5 inches will continue to move south 
into the southern plains through today, while a surface low 
averaging 29.5 inches develops in the lee of the canadian 
rockies. this surface low will weaken slightly as it tracks east 
across central canada and merges with another surface low over the
hudson bay on wednesday. as this happens, a period of southwest 
gales appear likely across the northern third of the lake late 
tonight and into wednesday. behind the departing surface low, high
pressure of 30.2 inches moves in across the upper great lakes.

.synopsis...ridging of 30.3 inches remains draped across the upper
great lakes this morning. it will move eastward into the lower
great lakes and weaken to 30.2 inches this afternoon as a 29.5 
inch low moving towards hudson bay extends extends a 29.7 inch 
trough across ontario. this trough will cross lake superior 
tuesday night and wednesday. by thursday, 30.2 inch high pressure
will be building into northern ontario. it will then drift
southeastward across lake superior on friday. saturday a 29.3 inch
low is expected to move through northern ontario, dragging a 29.6
inch trough across lake superior saturday night.
