waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...low pressure 29.50 inches will remain located near 
james bay through the night. a ridge averaging 30.20 inches will 
extend from the ohio valley into the lower great lakes through 
thursday. low pressure 30.00 inches will cross lower ontario 
forcing a warm front northeast across the lake friday. a cold 
front will move over the lake saturday night. high pressure ridge 
averaging 30.00 inches will then attempt to ridge onto the lake 
sunday into monday.
