waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.7 inch low over the upper saint lawrence valley
will track eastward into maine through the rest of the day...then 
will exit across the canadian maritimes tonight...while an expansive
30.6 inch high drifts southeast from the upper great lakes. the 
large high will move across the lake on thursday before making 
its way off the coast of new england friday and friday night. a 
complex frontal system will then approach the lake saturday and 
saturday evening.

system 29.30 inches arrives over the lakes early next week.
