toward the great lakes. this system moves across northern ontario
tuesday and brings a light rain and snow mix to lake huron and
lower michigan. the low pivots through the region tuesday night
into wednesday, eventually forcing a cold frontal passage. this
leads to a changeover to snow with the possibility for a period

.synopsis...

a weak ridge builds to 29.9 inches by this evening, ahead of a 29.4 
inch low over manitoba. this low deepens to 29.3 inches as it moves 
over lake superior tuesday afternoon before moving into southern 
quebec by wednesday morning. meanwhile, 30.6 inch high pressure 
builds over the dakotas during the middle of next week and shifts 
east to the great lakes late wednesday into thursday while weakening 
to 30.1 inches. this will be followed up by 29.7 inch troughing 
moving over the lake friday.
