east-northeast light winds expected throughout tonight. areas of
fog are possible tonight, especially across the southern half of
the lake where moisture is increasing. trends will be monitored 
through tonight. a few isolated thunderstorms are also possible in
this same area as low pressure of 29.9 inches progresses into the
western ohio river valley and a second area of 29.2 inch low 
pressure develops over the northern high plains tonight into 
tuesday. expect generally light easterly winds through tuesday and
tuesday night. areas of fog are possible again tuesday night, 
with some areas of dense fog possible. trends will be monitored 
for possible marine dense fog advisories.

as low pressure in the northern plains intensifies wednesday into
wednesday night, expect east-southeast winds and isolated to 
widely scattered storm chances across all open waters. low
pressure will move into the upper mississippi valley on thursday,
dragging a cold front across lake michigan during the afternoon

.synopsis...a 29.3 inch low over the northern plains lifts 
northeast tonight before moving into manitoba and eventually 
northern ontario tuesday and tuesday evening as it weakens. this 
keeps heights steady over lake superior until tuesday evening, when 
troughing deepens to around 29.8 inches. the troughing over lake 
superior progressively deepens to 29.3 inches by thursday night as 
another low forms over the northern plains during the middle of this 
week before lifting into northern ontario thursday night or friday. 
ridging moves into lake superior behind the low this weekend as a 
30.4 inch high pressure drops into northern manitoba by sunday.
