.synopsis...a cold front, 29.90 inches, will move over lake huron
this morning and will bring a prolonged period of gales across
north and north- central lake huron. northwest flow behind the
front will also bring elevated wave action across lake huron,
especially across the nearshore zones from the outer saginaw bay
into harbor beach. high pressure, 30.40 inches, then quickly
fills in behind the cold front late tomorrow night into thursday
morning, centering over lake erie.

moves into the area tonight bringing a period of lighter westerly 
winds.

winds become southerly on thursday, ahead of low pressure of 29.3
inches in eastern colorado. this low will lift into north central
iowa by friday afternoon, while deepening to 29.1 inches. this 
will bring the potential for thunderstorms mainly across the 
southern half of the lake friday, along with some southerly gales.

as the low departs northwesterly gales look likely for friday 
night into saturday. depending on the exact track and strength of
