1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.4 inch high centered over the tennessee valley
will settle into the southeast states today and off the carolina 
coast sunday...while a 29.6 low over manitoba deepens to 29.3 
inches as it dives southeastward to the ottawa valley tonight... 
then fills to 29.6 inches as it departs into the canadian 
maritimes on sunday. the next 29.6 inch surface low centered over 
northern wisconsin monday will gradually fill in to 29.8 inches by
tuesday, supporting a warm front so slide across the lake. as 
this system moves east, a deepening coastal low around 29.5 inches
will move north along the east coast wednesday.

high pressure 30.40 inches briefly builds into the ohio valley
this morning. low pressure 29.50 inches moves southeastward from 
the canadian prairies to lake superior by late today and then 
move eastward to the canadian maritimes by late sunday. a second
low pressure 29.50 inches approaches the western great lakes from
the northern great plains sunday night. this low will move slowly
eastward across the upper great lakes through tuesday and then 
generally northeast toward the mouth of the saint lawrence river 
by wednesday. a cold front trailing the low is expected to sweep 
eastward across lake erie tuesday through wednesday.
