for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake ontario
waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.
.synopsis...a 29.6 inch surface low over lake superior tonight will
gradually fill to 29.8 inches as it moves to james bay by late
tuesday. an elongated 29.8 inch low will then develop over the
eastern us tuesday night, then will deepen to 29.1 inches as it
tracks across new england and into southern quebec wednesday and
wednesday night. a 29.7 inch trough will then slowly cross the lake
thursday, then a 30.7 inch high will build across the mid-atlantic
states friday before drifting northeast into the gulf of maine. a
30.2 inch low will move from the mississippi valley to the central
great lakes saturday through sunday.
