states today into tonight, while low pressure deepens to 29.4 
inches as it tracks from southern manitoba to northern lake 
superior this afternoon, then to far southeast ontario by sunday 
morning. expect southwest gales this afternoon and evening for 
the south half of the lake, with a gale warning in effect through
this time period. winds over the north half will be breezy, with
isolated gales possible this morning into the early afternoon.

winds will diminish by sunday morning, but modest south winds 
will develop late in the day and last through the night as low 
pressure around 29.5 inches approaches from the west. low 
pressure will then move across lake superior on monday and into 
james bay on tuesday. a cold front will shift the winds to brisk 
westerly on monday, with another shift to brisk northwest winds
