a ridge averaging 30.30 inches builds over lake erie as the 
parent high pressure center moves from northern ontario to central
quebec. on friday, a weak low of 29.90 inches moves from the mid 
mississippi valley toward the mid ohio valley before meandering 
and eventually dissipating in vicinity of the mid and upper ohio 
valley on saturday. simultaneously, a weak trough averaging 30.10 
inches will extend from the low and over lake erie. on sunday, a 
low of 29.50 inches and its trailing occluded front should move 
generally eastward across lake erie. behind the low and front, a 
ridge averaging 30.00 inches should build from the north-central 
united states through monday.

slide across lake superior tonight and into the st. james bay 
region by tomorrow evening and sit over that region into the 
weekend. expect lighter northerly winds across lake michigan 
this morning before stronger easterly winds develop through 
this evening as low pressure around 29.9 inches tracks from the 
plains to central illinois and through the ohio river valley 
tonight through friday night. the south half of the lake will 
have the highest winds where the strongest pressure gradient sets
