1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.7 inch high over the plains states will weaken to 
30.4 inches while settling across the gulf coast states through 
sunday. the northeastern portion of this ridge will slide across the 
central and eastern great lakes sunday and monday, with a weakening 
30.0 inch trough sliding across the lake tuesday. another 30.5 inch 
high will then settle across the plains states wednesday...then to 
the ohio valley thursday.
