1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.1 inch low will move across northern quebec tonight 
with a weak secondary cold front crossing the lake. a 30.6 inch high 
will then settle across the great lakes sunday, new england monday, 
and across the western atlantic tuesday. a weak wave of low pressure 
averaging 30.1 inches will track across the ohio valley and lower 
great lakes tuesday and tuesday night. a 30.4 inch high will then 
build across the lower lakes region wednesday, with another 29.5 
inch low crossing the lake on thursday.
