waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a high pressure ridge averaging 30.3 inches begins to 
exit tonight. on the backside of the ridge, a warm front sweeps 
northeastward across lake ontario tonight into monday morning. a 
cold front then sweeps eastward across the lake monday evening. 
behind the cold front, a trough averaging 29.8 inches should linger 
over the eastern great lakes through thursday. by this friday, a 
high pressure ridge averaging 30.0 inches should build from the 
upper great lakes.
