waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.3 inch low will develop tonight just south of nova 
scotia, before moving north across the canadian maritimes friday 
morning. a 30.1 inch high will then briefly ridge south across the 
lake friday afternoon and friday night as it slides east across 
southern quebec. a 29.2 inch low will track just north of the lake 
saturday afternoon while pushing an attendant warm front across the 
lake, with its' cold front crossing the lake saturday night, before 
moving east into new england through the day on sunday. a trough 
averaging 29.6 inches then lingers over lake erie through monday. a 
30.3 inch high will move into the upper great lakes tuesday.
