.synopsis...
a 30.3 inch surface high draped across the lower great lakes will 
slide southeast and off the mid-atlantic coast tonight. meanwhile a 
weak surface low will slide from southern quebec to new england 
later tonight and christmas day, with its trailing cold front 
crossing the lake christmas morning. following the frontal passage, 
a strong 30.6 inch high over ontario will build across the lake 
christmas night. the high will then drift into quebec friday while a 
compact 29.7 inch low slides across ohio and pennsylvania, with the 
high then building back across the lake saturday. complex low 
pressure averaging 29.6 inches will then cross the lower great lakes 
later sunday and sunday night, before moving to the canadian 
maritimes monday.
