a 29.4 inch low over western lake superior this morning will slowly
meander over upper michigan through saturday morning, further
weakening to 29.8 inches saturday afternoon when it reaches just
north of gregorian bay. meanwhile, a 30.4 inch high sets up over the
plains. while low lifts northeast through quebec saturday night, the
high settles toward the southeast u.s., briefly extending 29.9 inch
ridging over lake superior. this quickly is replaced by a clipper
low of at least 29.6 inches on sunday. the low continues to quebec
on monday as it deepens to 29.4 inches while another high pressure
of 30.5 inches drops south over the plains. ridging of at least 30.2
inches looks to return to the upper great lakes on tuesday.
