highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...low pressure of 29.4 inches over james bay will lift 
northeast into quebec today. meanwhile, a 30.0 inch high pressure 
ridge extending from saskatchewan to the mid-mississippi valley 
will drift east and consolidate into a 30.2 inch high pressure 
center over the great lakes region on sunday. as the high moves 
toward southern new england during sunday night, a 29.8 inch low 
pressure trough will develop northeast across the plains to the 
upper mississippi valley. this trough will develop farther into 
the upper great lakes region on monday. as the trough then aligns 
from the central plains to the lower great lakes region on 
tuesday, a broad 30.1 inch high pressure will build southeast 
across northern ontario. as this high shifts toward new england on
wednesday, a 29.9 inch low pressure trough will move east to 
manitoba and the dakotas.
