average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.5 inch trough will quickly sweep eastward 
through the great lakes today. a 30.0 surface high builds over 
the region tonight into early monday before a deepening low 
pressure near 29.3 inches pushes east from the high plains monday 
night into tuesday. this low deepens to 29.2 inches, centering 
near georgian bay wednesday morning before trekking northeast into
quebec through the day. this will be followed by a period of 
ridging overnight into thursday, with pressure building to 30.4 
inches over lake superior by thursday afternoon.
