Fetch: To the N, there is a small hill with a small lines of trees/shrubs. These trees are no more than 8-10' high; including the hill, no more and 12-15'. The approximate distance is 150-175' away. (Rating: 9/10)
Terrain Rise: W & S are perfectly flat (airfield). E is flat for about 500', then there is a 20' tall building built into a small hill. N also has a small hill (see Fetch above). (Rating: 8.5/10)
Debris Potential: Minimal. Small planes and car are parking in the area.
Contact is Tom Doherty. He is enthusiastic and wants the weather station.
Storm Surge Potential: The site is not on the immediate shore and the airstrip is between the site and the Sound. Storm surge potential is low as any surge would likely come from the E of ESE and not from the due S.
