Kent Island Overview
Rolling swells are just offshore, especially in northwest and southwest winds. The bay is shallow close to shore with a rather sharp drop about 500 yards out.
Attention!!!! Apparently, access at Queen Anne's is no longer allowed (5/27/98).

Access is permitted at Kentmorr Harbor. Please pay $2 at the marina store. They also have a bathroom with a shower. key is available at the store.
As of 2007 windsurfing from Kentmorr Marina is no longer allowed due to liability legal issues. They had 3 lawsuites and decided to pull the plug to reduce the liability.
as of Sept 2007 Patrick at Queen Anne's Marina says windsurfers are welcome - just visit the store, be good guests, and check in at the office.
