Best flat water sailing in the area, and lovely scenery, though Kelly Park has more amenities. Good for all wind directions, esp. north and north-east. Weeds tend to be a problem, so a weed fin is usually recommended.

The sensor came online in January 2012 and since then it has yielded consistent and reliable data (it was down for a couple of months in the fall of 2013, but by early December it was back online; thank you iwindsurf!).

It is important to note that the meteogram for this location severely under-predicts the actual conditions. For some reason the Kelly Park-Calema meteogram provides a much better forecast of what's likely to happen here at Parrish Park North!

Shops, Schools, Clubs, Events, Food, Lodging, More,
Season: all year, though winter and especially spring are best
Water: you can stand pretty much everywhere except the channel - very long fins can be an issue.
Ability Level: flat water site - experts might prefer the waves at nearby Playa Linda or the beaches to the south.
Wetsuit: generally full suits are only necessary mid-winter, and not always then
Familiness: pretty spot, no comercial development, some distance to a bathroom
 Parking: never a problem
Launch: benign - many folks wear booties for glass, etc.

Take rt. 406 (there's an exit from I-95)4.3 miles through Titusville and over the A. Max Brewer Memorial bridge.
