The Lake Worth sensor is located at the end of the Lake Worth Pier. The pier is a great place to windsurf during the windy season from October through April. A north wind is great for the north side of the pier however, a northeast wind is best on the south side. Another great spot for windsurfing is about 5 miles south at the Boynton Inlet. The south side of the inlet is great on windy Northeast-east winds as the outside sandbar takes the brunt of the surf making it an easy shorebreak. Also quite a few kitesurfers are at the inlet on weekends. Local Expert? edit Edit this Page!
