Data from this station is courtesy of the Conrad Blucher Institute, Division of Nearshore Research at Texas A&M University. This CBI sensor uses the GOES satellite to transmit data every 0.5 to 3 hours, therefore wind speed and direction reported at this site could be up to 3 hours old. We believe that this is still preferable to no data at all.
