1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.1 inch ridge of high pressure from the ohio
valley to the canadian maritimes will slowly settle across the
northeast and new england through thursday. a 29.8 inch low over 
quebec on thursday will push a cold front across the lake late 
thursday night. the low will deepen to 29.4 inches as it rotates 
northward across eastern quebec and the maritimes friday into 
saturday, while a 30.4 inch high moves from the northern plains to
the ohio valley. this high will then ridge across the eastern 
great lakes and new england on sunday.
