waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 30.2 inch high will slip off the east coast
overnight and into tuesday, while a 29.5 inch surface low deepens
across the western great lakes. the low will slowly weaken to 
29.7 inches as crosses the lake late tuesday night and wednesday 
while dragging a cold front across the lake. a 30.4 inch high 
will then build across the lake wednesday night through thursday 
night, before strengthening to 30.6 inches as it slides to the new
england coast on friday. a 29.3 inch low across the plains states
on friday will track across lake superior on saturday.
