1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...an expansive 30.2 inch surface high over the plains 
states on monday will build across the great lakes monday night 
and tuesday. a 30.0 inch trough of low pressure will then pass to 
the north of the lake on wednesday. following this a 30.3 inch 
high will move over the lake thursday, and then off the atlantic 
coast on friday.
