waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a 29.6 inch low will move northeast across quebec 
through tonight. a 30.5 inch high will be centered over the upper 
great lakes on wednesday. the area of high pressure will expand 
across the entire great lakes region wednesday night and thursday 
and then remain across the lower great lakes and northeast through 
saturday.

promoting elevated winds and waves through wednesday. high

wednesday into thursday morning, which will then bring lighter
winds and dry weather through the end of the week.
